Our Story
JoGI stands on the banks of the Selja River — Estonia's richest salmon river — where nature has shaped the landscape for thousands of years.
Around the river lies a protected nature reserve, home to rare birds, ancient forests and wildlife. White-tailed eagles circle overhead, kingfishers flash across the water, and wolves still roam these woods.
Just a short walk away are the remains of a Viking hillfort, a reminder that this river was once a route of trade, travel and stories long before roads existed.
A bridge connects both banks today. More than a crossing, it is a symbol of slowing down, leaving the everyday behind and stepping into a quieter rhythm.
JoGI is not a hotel.
It is a place where mornings begin with mist rising from the river, evenings end beneath a sky full of stars, and nature quietly sets the pace.
